Rich Textile Medium 120 ml is a water-based fabric painting medium designed to transform ordinary acrylic paints into paints suitable for decorating textiles.
It is ideal for painting clothing, cotton tote bags, home textiles and personalised DIY fabric projects. Simply mix the medium with acrylic paint to create a mixture that is easier to apply smoothly and evenly to fabric.
Rich Textile Medium improves acrylic paint consistency and significantly reduces stiffness after drying. This helps decorated fabrics retain more of their natural flexibility, softness and comfort.
The medium also helps preserve colour intensity and reduce cracking or separation of the paint layer, improving the durability of painted designs.
The recommended mixing ratio is 1 part textile medium to 2 parts acrylic paint (1:2).
Once the paint has dried completely, the design should be heat-set by ironing the fabric from the reverse side. This helps improve the durability of the decoration.
Its convenient water-based formula makes the medium easy to incorporate into creative textile painting projects.
