How to Use

1. Clean, dry and prepare the surface to be gilded.

2. Apply a suitable gilding adhesive, such as mixtion, according to the substrate.

3. Allow the adhesive to reach the appropriate tack following the manufacturer's instructions.

4. Carefully transfer the imitation gold leaf onto the prepared surface.

5. Gently press the leaf into place using a soft gilding brush.

6. Once the adhesive has set, remove excess leaf and smooth the surface.

7. If required, protect the finished decoration with a suitable varnish for imitation gold leaf.

Important: Imitation gold leaf contains copper and zinc and may oxidise or change colour over time. A suitable protective varnish is recommended to help preserve the gilded appearance.
