Deco Glass Paints 30 ml – transparent and opaque stained-glass paints

Deco glass paints are a high-quality series of transparent stained-glass colours available in 13 transparent shades and 3 opaque colours (white, silver and gold). All colours can be mixed together, allowing you to create unique decorative effects.

Before painting, the glass surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased with alcohol or acetone. For best results, decorate the surface while it is lying flat to prevent the paint from running.

Deco paints dry significantly slower than typical glass paints. Drying time depends on the thickness of the applied layer and is at least 48 hours. In an oven heated to approx. 60°C, the paint crystallises faster.

To improve weather resistance, it is recommended to apply Final Varnish No. 200 once the paint is completely dry (even after one month). Do not apply an additional layer of Deco paint onto a dried surface, as it may cause the previous layer to lift.

These paints offer excellent lightfastness, especially in their original, undiluted form. A thicker layer ensures better durability than a very thin one.

The decorated surface should be cleaned only with a damp cloth and without detergents that may contain solvents.

For creating stained-glass-like decorations, we recommend using Renesans Relief Outliners, which perfectly separate colours and create raised, glass-like lines.
