Two-component water-based crackle medium by Pentart, designed to create fine, delicate crackles for antique and decorative effects. Perfect for decoupage, gilding, and porcelain decoration.
The set includes two components:
Step 1 – apply with a soft brush to a clean, decorated surface and allow to dry completely.
Step 2 – apply with a soft brush; as it dries, fine cracks will appear, forming a subtle aged effect.
Once dry, rub patina, metallic or pigment pastes into the cracks to enhance visibility. After 24 hours, seal the surface with a solvent-based varnish.

The size and appearance of the cracks depend on layer thickness, temperature, and humidity. Especially recommended for porcelain and glazed surfaces.
