Argiles Bisbal CBP Calcareous Ceramic Body 12,5 kg
24/7 without days off
Argiles Bisbal 105S CBP is a calcareous ceramic body that develops a pink or beige colour after firing. The final shade depends on the firing temperature and the atmosphere inside the kiln.
The body offers excellent drying behaviour with minimal deformation. It is intended for artistic, decorative and garden ceramics.
Its natural fired colour makes it particularly suitable for pieces finished without glaze.

Drying and firing
Allow the finished piece to dry slowly and evenly. The object must be completely dry before firing.
Recommended firing range: 980–1050°C
The manufacturer also provides technical test results at 950°C, 1000°C and 1100°C. The recommended firing range should be followed unless a different programme has been confirmed through individual testing.
Glazing
The body is particularly suitable for an unglazed finish.
Glazes may also be used, but the manufacturer notes that the body has a high thermal expansion coefficient. Glaze compatibility should therefore be checked through a test firing before use.
An incompatible glaze may cause surface defects such as crazing.
