The da Vinci COLINEO RED Series 412RED No. 1 is a professional watercolour brush featuring extra-long KOLINSKY SABLE SYNTHETIC FIBRE, developed to closely replicate the painting characteristics of natural Kolinsky Red Sable hair.

Its special composition of straight and wavy synthetic fibres of different lengths with extra-fine tips provides excellent water and colour absorption. High elasticity combined with a precise point allows the artist to create both free-flowing strokes and controlled lines and fine details.

The distinctive extra-long hair makes the brush ideal for watercolour painting as well as liquid acrylic colours. The brush is traditionally bound, with the fibres set in a lightweight plastic quill.
