The da Vinci COLINEO RED Series 442RED No. 2 is a professional, traditionally bound watercolour wash brush made with high-quality KOLINSKY SABLE SYNTHETIC FIBRE. The fibres are designed to provide painting properties very similar to natural Kolinsky Red Sable hair.

Its special composition of straight and wavy synthetic fibres in different lengths with extra-fine tips provides excellent water and colour absorption. High elasticity combined with a precise point allows the brush to perform both broad, flowing strokes and more controlled brushwork.

The brush is particularly suitable for washes, larger areas of colour, gradients, blending and wet-on-wet techniques. It is ideal for both watercolour painting and liquid acrylic colours.

The traditionally bound fibres are set in a plastic quill. The COLINEO RED series is distinguished by its characteristic red handle with elegant gold embossing.
