Oil pastel stick Sennelier Pale Grey 014
24/7 without days off
Sennelier Oil Pastels are premium quality pastels made with the finest pigments, an exceptionally pure binding medium, and mineral wax. This unique formulation provides a creamy, lipstick-soft consistency, allowing for expressive and versatile application.
The pigments are ground with an inert binding medium that resists oxidation, ensuring the stability of the pastel film and surface. The balance of binder and wax gives these pastels their exceptional texture, enabling smooth blending and layering on various surfaces without cracking or fading.
Sennelier Oil Pastels have an extraordinarily high pigment concentration, offering vibrant colours, excellent coverage, and a high degree of lightfastness (except for metallic and fluorescent shades).
First created in 1949 at the request of Parisian painter Henri Goetz for Pablo Picasso, these pastels were designed to meet Picasso's need for a versatile medium that could be used on various surfaces. The collaboration between Picasso and Henri Sennelier resulted in the iconic Sennelier Oil Pastel.
Over time, the range has grown to include metallic, iridescent, and unique shades, such as an extended selection of greys, developed in collaboration with European and North American painters.
