Linseed Oil Refined and Bleached, 250ml, ROSA Gallery

Description

ROSA Gallery Linseed Oils are perfect for enhancing your artwork with fine art applications like paint dilution and mixing with solvents and varnishes. These oils are designed to help artists achieve a more transparent, fluid consistency in their paints and extend the drying time, making them ideal for creating glazes or achieving glowing effects in paintings.

By mixing oil with paints, you can improve the optical properties, giving your artwork more depth and vibrancy. Unlike solvents, linseed oil doesn’t dissolve the paint; it just dilutes it, keeping the paint’s structure intact while enhancing its overall effect.

We offer two types of linseed oil: Polymerized Linseed Oil and Whitened and Refined Linseed Oil. Both are great for making multi-component mediums and are compatible with oil paints from any manufacturer. The Whitened and Refined Linseed Oil is less prone to yellowing compared to raw oil, while the Polymerized Linseed Oil has a thicker, denser consistency and forms a durable waterproof film once dry.

Key Features:

  • Polymerized Linseed Oil: Thick, dense consistency, creates a waterproof finish when dry.
  • Whitened and Refined Linseed Oil: Less likely to yellow, perfect for mixing with oil paints.
  • Versatile: Can be mixed with any oil paints to create custom mediums.
  • Ideal for Fine Art: Enhances transparency, fluidity, and drying time.
