Renesans Cold Wax Medium for Oil Painting 125 ml

Renesans Cold Wax 125 ml is a soft wax paste medium designed for oil painting. It can be mixed with oil colours to increase their body and consistency while creating a deeper matte finish.

The medium is particularly useful when a thicker, more paste-like consistency is required. For a more fluid consistency suitable for brush application, the wax paste can be thinned with a small amount of odourless solvent.

Cold Wax can also be applied to a dry oil painting as a wax varnish, providing a matte surface finish.
