Professional glazing medium by Schmincke, made from natural oil-based binders.
It gives oil paints an enamel-like gloss, smooths the surface, and reduces brushstroke marks, allowing artists to achieve the luminous depth and layered transparency characteristic of old masters’ techniques.
Intended primarily for glazing (lasur) painting, it helps create thin, transparent color layers with brilliant depth and shine.
This medium also gradually accelerates the drying process.
Contains: damar resin, stand oil (polymerized linseed oil), and petroleum spirit.
Close tightly immediately after use.
