Renesans Dammar Varnish Spray Gloss 400 ml for Oil Paintings

Renesans Dammar Varnish Spray 400 ml is a gloss finishing varnish designed primarily for protecting oil paintings, and can also be used with water-based paints. It is made from pure resins dissolved in plant-based essences.

Once applied, the varnish forms a protective layer that helps protect the painting from dust, moisture and the adverse effects of sunlight. It binds the paint layers, improves the durability of the artwork and provides an attractive gloss finish.

The convenient spray format makes it easier to apply an even coat without using a brush, making varnishing more accessible even for less experienced artists.

The varnish should only be applied to thoroughly dried paint – at least 6 months after completion of an oil painting.

Directions for Use

Spray the painting from a distance of approximately 30 cm, moving the spray evenly from one edge of the artwork to the other and back again. This helps prevent runs and uneven application.

Use in a warm, well-ventilated area.
