Winsor & Newton Watercolour Ground Transparent 250 ml is a transparent ground for watercolour painting, designed to prepare a variety of surfaces for watercolour by giving them properties similar to watercolour paper.

It can be applied to primed canvas, wood, glass and many other smooth surfaces, allowing artists to explore watercolour techniques beyond traditional paper.

The ground provides excellent absorbency, colour intensity and even drying, helping watercolours retain their characteristic transparency and attractive tonal transitions.

The Transparent version allows the natural colour and appearance of the underlying surface to remain visible and become part of the finished artwork.

Directions for Use
