Pebeo Drawing Gum Removable Masking Fluid for Watercolour, Ink 45 ml

Pébéo Drawing Gum 45 ml is a removable masking medium based on natural latex, designed to protect selected areas of artwork from paint.

The masking fluid is suitable for use with watercolour, ink and diluted gouache. It allows artists to preserve white or previously painted areas while applying subsequent layers of colour.

Drawing Gum can be used on paper, cardboard, wood and many other surfaces. Apply the medium with a brush or pen to the areas that need to remain unpainted. Allow the masking fluid to dry completely before painting.

Once the applied paint is completely dry, gently remove the masking layer with your finger or an eraser to reveal the protected area underneath.

How to Use

1. Apply Drawing Gum with a brush or pen to the areas you want to protect.
2. Allow the masking medium to dry completely.
3. Paint over the surface with watercolour, ink or diluted gouache.
4. Allow the paint to dry completely.
5. Gently remove the Drawing Gum using your finger or an eraser.
