Cerulean Blue, a stunning sky-blue inorganic pigment, is beautifully granulating and has a medium light value. It has high lightfastness and an extremely low staining quality, allowing for captivating granulating and settling washes. When you drop Cerulean Blue into a wet mix, such as Burnt Sienna, it creates a halo effect around the denser Cerulean color. This technique is especially effective when used with Quinacridone Gold or Quinacridone Burnt Orange for wet underpainting, making it perfect for visualizing mosses and lichens.
