Clairefontaine provides artists with paper that is rougher than velour but softer than sandpaper. With a wide range of available colors, from warm and light tones to cool and darker shades, you can select the paper that best suits the character of your work.

Pastelmat paper ensures excellent color representation thanks to its high light reflection properties. Made with the highest quality 100% cellulose fibers, it is acid-free and has a neutral pH. The paper is exceptionally resistant to repeated corrections and abrasion. Each sheet is protected with an additional transparent interleaf.
